Right from the childhood, I was interested in drawing. I used to draw TV cartoons when I was 6-7 Years old. I tried portrait sketch for the 1st time when I was just 9 years old and then kept on practicing it more and more. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I learnt different styles of art all by self practice. Since mid of 2014 I have been sharing my artworks on social media and today I'm a professional artist & an Art instructor.
I use many different mediums, such as graphite, color pencils, watercolors, charcoal, acrylics, and markers. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. Most of my works are portrait sketches but I like drawing/painting still life, landscapes and 3D drawings as well.
Commissioned Artworks
I started doing commissioned artworks in 2014. I got most of the orders from my Facebook page or Instagram. Completed more than 3000 orders till now.
Not just from India, I got orders from other countries as well.
Social Media Presence
I started a Facebook page in 2012 for posting my artworks. This was not a common thing at that time, infact very rare. I was probably the first to do so in 2012 in India. Currently it has 1 Lakh+ followers.
In 2014 I started posting on Instagram as well. Again, it was not a common thing at that time to start an Instagram art page. Currently I have 50,000+ followers on Instagram.
In 2016-17, I started my YouTube channel on which I started posting sketching and drawing tutorials in Hindi. I was the first one in India to start this thing on YouTube. Started teaching various techniques, some of which were not known to anyone in India at that time, like blending the pencil shades. Many others got inspired and started teaching art on YouTube. Currently I have 2 Lakh+ Subscribers on YouTube.
